நுகர்வோரே விழித்திருங்கள்! பெருநிறுவனங்களின் விலைச் சுரண்டலுக்கு எதிராக எனது போராட்டம்!

நண்பர்களே, சமீபத்தில் எனக்கு நடந்த ஒரு அனுபவத்தை உங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன். இது இன்றைய நுகர்வோர் எதிர்கொள்ளும் ஒரு முக்கியமான பிரச்சனையை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது: அதாவது, பெருநிறுவனங்கள் தன்னிச்சையாக விலையை நிர்ணயித்து, அதிக லாபம் ஈட்டி, சாமானிய மக்களுக்கும் பெருநிறுவனங்களுக்கும் இடையிலான இடைவெளியை அதிகரிப்பது. இது ஒரு தனிப்பட்ட பரிவர்த்தனை மட்டுமல்ல; இது சந்தையில் நியாயமான மற்றும் வெளிப்படையான வர்த்தகத்திற்கான உரிமை பற்றியது.

எனது அனுபவம் ஆகஸ்ட் 26, 2024 அன்று தொடங்கியது. ரிலையன்ஸ் ஸ்மார்ட் (ரிலையன்ஸ் ரீடெய்ல் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனத்தால் இயக்கப்படும்) கடையில், நான் ஒரு க்ளூ கன் (glue gun) வாங்கினேன். அலமாரியில் அந்தப் பொருளுக்கான "எங்கள் விற்பனை விலை ரூ.199/-" என்று தெளிவாகக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டிருந்தது. ஆனால், பணத்தைக் கட்டும்போதோ, அதே பொருளுக்கு ரூ.417.57 வசூலிக்கப்பட்டதைக் கண்டு நான் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தேன். இது விளம்பரப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விலையை விட மிக அதிகம் மட்டுமல்லாமல், பொருளின் மீது அச்சிடப்பட்டிருந்த அதிகபட்ச சில்லறை விலையான (MRP) ரூ.319/- ஐ விடவும் அதிகமாகும்.

நான் இந்தக் குளறுபடி பற்றி கேட்டபோது, பில்லிங் ஊழியர்கள் ரூ.199/- விற்பனை விலை செல்லுபடியாகாது என்று கூறி, MRP-ஐ விட அதிகமாக வசூலித்ததற்கு எந்த நியாயமும் சொல்லவில்லை. மேலும், நான் ரூ.417.57 பணத்தைத் திரும்பக் கேட்டபோது, அவர்களது கொள்கைப்படி பணம் திரும்பக் கொடுக்க முடியாது என்றும், ஒரு கூப்பனைப் பூர்த்தி செய்து ஒரு வருடத்திற்குள் மாற்றுவது மட்டுமே வழி என்றும் கூறினர்.

இந்தச் சம்பவம், விளம்பரப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விலையை விட ரூ.218.57 அதிகமாக வசூலிக்கப்பட்டது, இது தவறான விலை நிர்ணயம், நியாயமற்ற வர்த்தக நடைமுறை மற்றும் நுகர்வோர் உரிமைகளின் அப்பட்டமான மீறல் ஆகும். மாவட்ட நுகர்வோர் குறைதீர் ஆணையம் இதைச் சரியாக அங்கீகரித்தது. விளம்பரப்படுத்தப்பட்ட விற்பனை விலை மற்றும் MRP ஆகிய இரண்டையும் விட அதிகமாக வசூலிப்பது, சட்டவியல் அளவீடுகள் (பேக் செய்யப்பட்ட பொருட்கள்) விதிகள், 2011 இன் விதி 6 இன் நேரடி மீறல் ஆகும். மேலும், இது நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டம், 2019 இன் பிரிவு 2(41) இன் கீழ் "கட்டுப்பாடான வர்த்தக நடைமுறை" என வரையறுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்தகைய நடைமுறைகள், பெருநிறுவனங்கள் விலைகளைக் கையாண்டு, நுகர்வோர் மீது நியாயமற்ற செலவுகளைச் சுமத்துகின்றன.

நுகர்வோர் பாதுகாப்புச் சட்டம், 2019 இன் பிரிவு 35 இன் கீழ் நான் புகார் அளித்தேன். எனக்கு மகிழ்ச்சி அளிக்கும் செய்தி என்னவென்றால், ஜனவரி 20, 2025 அன்று, இந்த ஆணையம் எனக்குச் சாதகமாகத் தீர்ப்பளித்தது. தீர்ப்பின்படி, எதிர் தரப்பான ரிலையன்ஸ் ரீடெய்ல் லிமிடெட்:

•

வசூலித்த கூடுதல் தொகையான ரூ.218.57-ஐ, வாங்கிய நாளிலிருந்து (26/08/2024) தீர்ப்பு நாள் (20/01/2025) வரை 7.5% வட்டியுடன் திருப்பித் தர வேண்டும்.

•

நான் அனுபவித்த மன உளைச்சலுக்காக ரூ.20,000/- இழப்பீடு வழங்க வேண்டும்.

•

வழக்குச் செலவாக ரூ.5,000/- செலுத்த வேண்டும்.

இந்த வெற்றி, நம் குரல்களுக்கு மதிப்பிருக்கிறது என்பதையும், நீதி கிடைக்க முடியும் என்பதையும் நிரூபிக்கிறது. இது விடாமுயற்சியால் கிடைத்த வெற்றி!

பெருந்துறை சிப்காட் சுற்றுச்சூழல் மாசுபடும்

    பட்டப் படிப்பை முடித்து சுமார் 15 முதல் 16 ஆண்டுகள் சொந்த ஊரை விட்டு வெளியூரில் வேலை செய்து வந்தேன். கொரோனா தொற்றுக்குப் பிறகு சொந்த ஊருக்குத் திரும்பியபோதுதான், எனது ஊரான பெருந்துறை சிப்காட்டினால் பெரிதும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை அறிந்தேன். இங்குள்ள நிலம், நீர் மற்றும் காற்று மிகவும் மாசடைந்து, இங்கு வசிக்கும் பொதுமக்கள் பெரிதும் துன்பப்பட்டனர்.

    நான் பெற்ற கல்வியின் மூலம் கிடைத்த அறிவால், எது நல்லது, எது கெட்டது என்று கேள்வி கேட்காமல் இருக்கக் கூடாது என்ற எண்ணம் எனக்கு ஒரு கட்டத்தில் தோன்றியது.

     2021 ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல், சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதிப்பு குறித்துப் பல கேள்விகளை எழுப்ப ஆரம்பித்தேன். பெருந்துறை சிப்காட்டில் இயங்கி வரும் பல தொழிற்சாலைகள் காற்றையும், நீரையும், நிலத்தையும் மாசுபடுத்தி வருவதை இங்குள்ள மக்களுக்குப் புரிய வைக்க முயற்சி செய்தேன்.

    பல ஆண்டுகளாகப் போராடி வரும் குழுக்களைச் சந்தித்துப் பேச எனக்கு வாய்ப்புக் கிடைத்தது. அவர்களின் நோக்கத்தைப் புரிந்து கொண்டேன். அவர்களின் போராட்டங்களிலும் நானும் கலந்து கொண்டேன். அவர்களும் எனக்கு ஆதரவாக நின்றனர்.

நிலம், நீர், காற்று மாசுபட்டுவிட்டது என்பதை மக்களுக்குப் புரிய வைக்க, அவர்கள் அன்றாடம் பார்க்கும் வாட்ஸ்அப், ஃபேஸ்புக், யூடியூப் போன்ற சமூக ஊடகங்கள் மூலம் தகவல்களைப் பகிர ஆரம்பித்தோம். பலர் உன்னிப்பாகக் கவனித்த சமயத்தில், எங்களுடைய யூடியூப் சேனலும், ஃபேஸ்புக் பக்கமும் ஒரே நாளில் முடக்கப்பட்டன.

   

கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக கார்ப்பரேட் உலகின் ஆழமான உண்மைகள் எங்களுக்குப் புரிய ஆரம்பித்தன. சொந்தக்காரர்கள் மற்றும் நண்பர்கள் மூலமாக அறிவுரைகளும், எச்சரிக்கைகளும் வந்துகொண்டே இருந்தன.

என்னவென்று தெரியவில்லை, நாம் பிறந்த ஊருக்கு நல்லது செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணம் மட்டும் மனதில் இருந்து கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. பார்ப்போம், இந்த உலகத்தை மாற்ற முடியாது, ஆனால் சில மக்களின் மனங்களை மாற்றி நம் மண்ணுக்கு நல்லது செய்வோம்.

10K marathon-2018 @CIT Coimbatore

    As an amateur runner (self-trained)myself, it was my second marathon in my lifetime. It was way back in 2007 that I took my ran first marathon.

   It was an early Sunday morning  18.02.2017-5.45 am at Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore, the Y’s Men's Club of Coimbatore and Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) jointly conducted  ‘10K Marathon–2018’, a 10 km marathon to create awareness about blood donation and registration for blood donors directory.

     After some warmups and drills, runners got together at 6.30 am to takeup the run in different categories. I along with 3 of my colleagues(Mr.Pradeep, Mr.Vishnu & Mr.Sonies) took 10 km run for creating awareness for blood donation. It was a brisk start in the morning from CIT campus and we moved towards Codissia connected with Cheranmanagar, Thaaneer paandal, Codissia and ended in CIT campus. The support crews were awesome, they kept us hydrated throughout the event. Their work on traffic planning, hydration station, washrooms, medal and certificate distribution were very appreciable.

     After this run(which I almost walked through 70 % of marathon) the recovery from it was very important which went very smoothly. Throughout the day I found my legs were unusual to the sore and stiff due to the effect of the marathon. But I was practically back to normal on the very next day itself.

     I felt proud of myself after completing the marathon, even though having few cramps during my run  I was able to complete it with amidst pain which went away in a few hours.

     It taught me a lesson in life, I felt that this run made me feel great and extremely free because, I had the chances to discover new locations and to meet new people. 

As Robert frost rightly mentioned "The woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promise to keep and miles to go before I go to sleep", Despite of having a tight schedule in life, I like to continue running the  marathon throughout my life..... 


Life is like a marathon, where we lose to some and we win some. We may feel tired, broken, inferior or even sad, but all we have to do is RUN!! RUN!! RUN!! until the goal is reached. 

Running may not make you WIN, but it atleast helps you to COMPLETE! And be proud, because most don't even complete/participate.

End of Game for "Person of Interest"...

One of the wonderful science fiction, crime and Hi-tech TV Series of the 20th Century is  "Person of Interest" - POI, Aired by CBS from 2011, I wonder watching this series. It takes on the world of technology and their intelligence.

The Creator, Jonathan Nolan creativity is an appreciable one. Hats off to Jonathan for his wonderful creative work. The  creator of  this series Jonathan Nolan, is well known for his co-screenplay writings with his elder brother Christopher Nolan for Intersteller, The Dark Night Rises etc.,

We can imagine our self into the future world  by viewing this Series. In India, Collection of our identity through Adhar card(10 finger prints, Retina details) which may be used by government or any other private agencies for tracking us. This is exactly depicted in this series.

The series will surely makes lots of debates on Artificial Intelligence. From Season 1 to Season 5, the interest on Person of Interest never fails. From 2011 to 2015, the series used to start on September and ends in the May month of next year, which used to have 22 to 23 Episodes. But the finale season was entirely different, contain only 13 episodes which starts in May 2016 and ends in June 2016.

I was addicted to this series, as usual the finale ends with the defeat of evils.
